Community Involvement

Community InvolvementThe doctors and staff of Norfolk County Veterinary Service truly believe that our mission to care for the welfare of animals extends beyond our exam room walls. We know that it is important for us to share our medical expertise and to reach beyond the bounds of our practice to help support larger, community-based efforts to help animals in need.

To this end, we work closely with Northeast All Retriever Rescue by providing advisory services as well as to donate medical services to their dogs. We also cosponsor and perform a rabies vaccination clinic here in Walpole with some of the proceeds going directly to this organization.

We also donate our time and resources to several feline and canine rescue organizations, which includes preventative care and spay neuter services from our hospital.

Beyond our outreach to animal advocacy groups, we also believe that being your family’s veterinarian also means being part of your family’s community. Needless to say, we live in Walpole and surrounding communities and take great pride in being an active participant in local events and want our practice to be viewed as a good neighbor.

This is why we are enthusiastic participants in Walpole Day, a community outdoor fair organized by the Walpole Recreation Department. We also enjoy many other opportunities to support local civic organizations and celebrate with our friends and neighbors, including participation at Norwood Day.
